In the Year 2030 Mercedes-Benz will introduce the P111. Hi-Tech Carbon-fiber braiding machines will weave the car as one sculptural dynamic form directly onto a positive plaster mold.
It will be the modern answer to the current Mercedes-Benz research vehicles; combining aesthetics, hi-tech light-weight materials and structural surface treatments.
A soft sculpture with sharp graphic breakups. Organic volumes complemented with repeating geometric modules. An organic form with a geometric matrix, which uses flowing, curving and soft volumes. The geometric pattern results from the weaving process.
Based on the SLS AMG ELECTRIC DRIVE, The P111 will include 4 electric motors combined ratings of 1110 HP.
Inspired by the Lockheed SR-71 Blackbird with its sharp edges along the bodyside and powerful appearance.
Parametric design forms used in the architecture and high fashion influenced the structural pattern. it opens up towards the rear, creating a unique surface.
The c111 is the predecessor to the P111. the features relate to the current vehicle; such as the wing-doors, fins, lights & graphics. The unique design language and proportions for Mercedes-Benz are the main characteristics of the C111. The P111 carries the spirit of the legend.
